Introduction to the cruise

The Savoir Faire barge ship was built in Amsterdam in 1932. Originally, she transported cargo on waterways in Belgium and Holland. During WW2 (1939-1945), the vessel served as a troop carrier. In 1976, it was converted into a luxury hotel barge and currently is operated by Christopher Bennett- shipowner and Captain. Savoir Faire cruises on canals and rivers in France, Belgium, and Holland.
