Bohai Ferry Co., Ltd. is the largest and most comprehensive passenger and vehicle transport company in China. It was officially listed in September 2012 and is the first shipping company in Shandong Province to enter the A-share market. It mainly operates passenger and vehicle transport business on the Yantai-Dalian and Penglai-Lüshun routes and international tourism business. At present, it has 9 large passenger and vehicle ferries in operation, including "Bohai Jinzhu", "Bohai Yinzhu", "Bohai Pearl", "Bohai Yuzhu", "Bohai Baozhu", "Bohai Feizhu", "Bohai Cuizhu", "Bohai Jingzhu" and "Bohai Mingzhu", and an international travel agency. The total tonnage of the ships is 220,000 tons, the total lane line is 18,000 meters, the total passenger seats are 14,000, and the average age of the ships is less than 5 years. Two other large passenger and vehicle ferries are under construction. The company's car and passenger volume, car and passenger market share, operating income, net profit, and tax paid have ranked first among peer companies in the country for seven consecutive years.In February 2013, Yantai Bohai International Ferry Co., Ltd. was established in a joint venture with Yantai Port Group, South Korea's HANARO Shipping Co., Ltd., etc., mainly engaged in passenger and vehicle transportation from Yantai to Pyeongtaek, South Korea. The route was officially opened in July. It marked the company's official entry into the international passenger and vehicle transportation business. In February 2014, a wholly-owned subsidiary, Bohai Cruise Co., Ltd., was registered in Hong Kong. In March 2014, the company purchased an international luxury cruise ship, the "China Taishan", which was officially put into operation in August. This is China's first wholly-owned, independently operated and managed luxury cruise ship, marking the company's official entry into the international luxury cruise industry
