Introduction to the cruise

Star Cruises has completely refurbished and upgraded the 50,764-ton SuperStar Gemini. The project cost US$50 million and included upgrading the navigation system, hull paint design, and refurbishing various facilities on board, such as guest rooms, restaurants, entertainment and recreational facilities, retail and beauty service areas. In order to allow passengers to enjoy a more comprehensive holiday experience, the new duty-free shopping area on SuperStar Gemini allows guests to purchase a variety of luxury watches, jewelry and handbags, etc., adding more fun to the colorful sea vacation. SuperStar Gemini, formerly known as the Norwegian Dream, will soon join the Star Cruises Asia fleet and will provide unforgettable holiday experiences for guests from Asia Pacific and around the world together with SuperStar Virgo, SuperStar Aquarius, SuperStar Libra and SuperStar Pisces. The cruise ship was renamed SuperStar Gemini in the hope that the twins would protect the sea voyagers and bring joy and happiness to people with their harps, just like the ancient Greek mythology. The Gemini has a wide range of facilities on board, including Chinese, Asian and international dining options, open-air barbecues, performance venues, karaoke, spa and wellness centers, beauty and hair salons, children's paradise and swimming pools, etc., to meet the guests' dining and entertainment needs. The Gemini's 766 rooms can accommodate a total of 1,532 passengers, and there are sea view rooms, luxury suites and executive suites for guests to choose from. In addition, the Gemini's newly added 4,000 square feet of shopping space provides guests with an unparalleled shopping experience. Multiple duty-free brands will be stationed on the Gemini, allowing guests to enjoy shopping on board watches, jewelry, and a series of branded handbags, wallets, perfumes, sunglasses, accessories and fashion products.
