SIGNORA DEL VENTO

Born in 1962, Signora del Vento has worked for about 30 years in the North Sea and the Caribbean. Since the 1990s, the sailing vessel has sailed in seas all over the world as a school ship, participating in countless sailing rallies. In 2006, the vessel was completely restructured by Italian Nautical Company, bringing it into compliance with the safety standards necessary to obtain the Italian flag and to register it in the Italian Registry under SOLAS RINA regulations. In December 2016, the sailing vessel was donated by the M.AR.TE. Uliveto - Brio blu - Rocchetta Mineral Water Group of the Secondary Education School "Giovanni Caboto" in Gaeta, which, with a grant obtained by MIUR in the context of the "Territorial Laboratory of Employability", revisited and adapted it for use in training activities on board.
