MS VistaStar – General informationOur ship was put into service in July 2018. A modern and stylish ambience awaits you. The spacious sun deck offers you wonderful views from comfortable loungers and outdoor furniture. The interior is modern, elegant, spacious and offers a high level of comfort: a panoramic lounge with a bar, a chic restaurant and a wellness area with a pool, sauna and fitness center. Thanks to a clever room layout and modern elements, the cabins are particularly spacious and comfortable and are equipped with a French balcony on the middle and upper decks. Trained, friendly service staff and excellent cuisine ensure the perfect vacation.Onboard equipmentSpacious sun deck with shady spots, modern outdoor furniture, loungers, putting green and shuffle board. Spacious, modern and elegant panoramic lounge, chic restaurant (one table time), reception with reception desk, on-board boutique, book corner, excursion desk, elevator. Wellness area with Magrodome (glass sliding roof) at the stern with pool* and all-round panoramic glazing with a wonderful view of the river and the passing landscapes. Infrared sauna, fitness room. Stair lift at the bow between the upper deck and sun deck. Solar cells help to make energy consumption more environmentally friendly. *At low tide, the pool may have to be emptied in order to reduce the weight and thus the draft of the ship. Please note that depending on the route, there may be severe restrictions or failure of the connection. Bicycles are available for private exploration for a fee.Life on board and entertainmentElegant and cozy holiday atmosphere. We recommend comfortable clothing, smart clothing is required for dinner, and chic, understated elegance (no evening wear) is recommended for the farewell dinner. The on-board language is German, the on-board currency is the euro, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), EC cards (Maestro and V-Pay) are accepted. Depending on the itinerary, theme evenings, live music, lectures or quizzes are offered. A good selection of books, board games and card games are available. Open bar and table drinks such as house wine, draft beer, soft drinks such as cola, lemonade, juices, mineral water, coffee and tea (from 8 a.m. to midnight) are included.Your cabinAll cabins are outside cabins and on the middle and upper decks they are equipped with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that can be opened (French balconies). The smaller windows in the main deck cabins cannot be opened. All cabins are approx. 16 m² in size, the four cabins on the front of the main deck are approx. 15 m² in size. All are modern and tastefully furnished with high-quality equipment: shower/toilet with sliding door, hairdryer, double bed (can be separated), satellite TV with headphone connection, radio, telephone, individually adjustable air conditioning/heating, safe, minibar, coffee machine, desk, 2 small armchairs with small table. Cabins with VIP service receive a fruit plate and a bottle of sparkling wine as a welcome. 3-bed cabins have three lower beds (one of which is a folding bed). A limited number of 2-bed cabins can be booked for sole use;Surcharge + 70%.Children travel freeChildren aged 2 to 12 years travel free in a cabin with two full-paying adults or one full-paying adult in a cabin for single occupancy.Excursions and shore excursionsOur tour guides arrange organized excursions (booking and payment on board) offered and carried out by local agencies and give tips for private shore excursions. A mobile audio system is available for numerous optional excursions.Medical careA doctor can be reached on land at short notice.
