Introduction to the cruise

Our comfort class Nile shipsOur comfort class Nile ships (4 Phoenixes, national category 5 stars) correspond to the upper middle class in terms of equipment and service.Specially selected and predominantly chartered exclusively by Phoenix Reisen, these ships are “tailored” to our German-speaking guests so that we can influence the organization and program flow in your interests, both on board and during the shore excursions. They only differ in design, size and number of cabins.Which ship is used on which days of the week depends on the booking volume and will be decided by our local agency. Therefore, Phoenix groups can also take part in the trips between Luxor and Aswan together with an international audience with their German-speaking travel guide. The ships have four to five decks and have an entrance hall with reception, souvenir shop and massage area, a tastefully decorated salon, a restaurant (a table time) and bars.On the well-maintained, spacious sun deck with swimming pool, loungers and seating, you have the choice between sun and shade spots.Pool towels are available free of charge. The ships offer another bar or grill station on the sun deck. All ships are fully air-conditioned.WiFi is free of charge (subject to network reception).Welcome to our comfort class Nile ships!e.g. MS Club Vision – MS Château la FayetteYour comfort cabinsAll cabins are exterior with a French balcony or windows, which are slightly smaller on the Nile deck (lower deck) and cannot be opened. They are comfortable and functionally furnished, with shower/WC or bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, music channel, ship's telephone, refrigerator, voltage 220V.Alternating current. The average size of a two-bed cabin is between 14-18 m², depending on the ship.CateringFull board with international cuisine, breakfast, lunch and dinner in rich and varied buffets.Afternoon tea/coffee hour with pastries on the sun deck.Depending on the trip, an oriental specialty buffet or a barbecue evening on deck. The standard of catering corresponds to hotels of the same category in Egypt. You also have the option of booking all-inclusive catering on our comfort class ships (non-alcoholic drinks such as soft drinks, coffee, cappuccino, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails as well as local beer, local spirits and wine are available between 09:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.: 00 p.m. included). Our Nile fleetThe approximately 250 Nile cruise ships are similar in design and construction, but differ in size, number and equipment of cabins. When selecting its Nile fleet, Phoenix Reisen relies on different partners/shipping companies who, thanks to their long-standing collaboration, know how to best meet the needs of our guests and have a great deal of experience in the processes of our programs. Our local employees, together with our Egyptian agency, attach great importance to the condition of the ships used, which must meet the requirements within the categories we have described through regular inspections and inspections. This requires renovation and maintenance measures from our partner shipping companies, which are carried out at certain intervals for the different areas of a ship. The ships are regularly adapted to current standards. With a common design of 4-5 passenger decks, only the arrangement of the public areas of the restaurant and salon with lounge/bar on different decks differs depending on the ship. The ship's sun deck, which is the focus of a Nile cruise, has an outdoor bar, a small swimming pool and plenty of sunbathing and seating areas for sunbathing or shade.Which ship is used on which days of the week depends on the booking volume and is assigned by our local agency.
