Introduction to the cruise

Pink PalukaSmall but mighty! The striking "Rosa Paluka" with its bright red hull is an open cutter. It was launched on the Ems in the 1960s and worked as a real fishing cutter for a long time until it joined the Adler fleet in 2007 and began its second career as an excursion boat in List on Sylt. Its main activities now include short sea voyages with culinary offerings or trips to see the seals. The "Rosa Paluka" was named after her colleague from the shipping company, namely the mother of the famous Dresden expressionist dancer Gret Palucca, who in turn gave her name to our second Lister cutter. This was not a typo that crept onto the ship's hull: No, "the Palucca", as she was also known in the international dance scene, had slightly modified her original name and adopted a stage name. Her mother's name was actually Rosa Paluka.
