The fully barrier-free electric ship is the first fully electric and emission-free excursion passenger ship on the German North and Baltic Sea coasts. During the trip, the MS Adler nature is supplied with green electricity via the solar cells on the open deck.The e-ship offers 50 bicycle parking spaces with a special boarding system for quick and easy bike handling to promote the expansion of bicycle tourism.A new era of shippingBuilt by the renowned Lux ​​shipyard, the MS Adler nature begins its journey into the future of maritime mobility. With a proud investment volume of around five million euros, the Adler-Schiffe shipping company is underlining its commitment to environmental protection and sustainability. The MS Adler nature, a 32-meter-long ship with a width of 9 meters and an impressive speed of 16 km/h, will offer harbor tours from Wismar four times a day from April. Equipped with 1440 kilowatt hours of battery power and supported by solar cells on the open deck, this innovative ship guarantees a comfortable, emission-free journey for up to 250 passengers and also offers 50 bicycle parking spaces to promote bicycle tourism in the region.A journey of innovation and commitmentThe transfer of the MS Adler nature from the Lux shipyard in Mondorf am Rhein to Wismar is more than just a journey to its new home port; it is a demonstration of the reliability and performance of electric mobility at sea.
