Introduction to the cruise

Ortelius was built in Gdynia, Poland in 1989 and named "Marina Svetaeva". It is a research vessel of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It was sold and renamed "Ortelius" in 1994. Ice resistance level UL1 (equivalent to 1A)
