Introduction to the cruise
The Horizon is a beautiful cruise ship. The warm colors in the interior and the friendly and helpful staff will quickly make you feel at home. And together with the 98 passengers, a pleasant atmosphere is created on board. Add to this a wide choice of the most beautiful destinations and you have an unforgettable holiday.
The ship has three decks. On the promenade deck you will find a spacious and inviting lounge with a large bar and dance floor. Thanks to the spacious windows, you won’t miss anything of the beautiful surroundings. You can reach the lounge from the centrally located hall, where the reception and souvenir showcases are also located. The restaurant is located on the rear part of the promenade deck and can also be reached from the hall. There are chairs and loungers on the sun deck for relaxing outdoors. Exercise bikes are available under the canopy if you want to get some exercise. More information about the Horizon can be found below. The promenade deck, the sun deck and the forward cabins on the main deck (121 to 136) are accessible by stairs and stair lift. The aft cabins (101 to 117) on the main deck are only accessible by stairs.
The elegant light-colored panels in the cabins provide a modern and spacious appearance. The cabins all have a television, safe, large windows that open and a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. Hairdryers are available upon request. With the air conditioning you can regulate the climate in your cabin yourself and each cabin has plenty of storage space for your luggage. During the day we fold away one bed and the other is transformed into a comfortable sofa. The beds in the B cabins are raised, there is a step in front of the bed so you can get in and out. The 3-person cabin is equipped with two folding beds and an upper bed.
Breakfast and lunch are ready for you at the buffet in the restaurant. We serve dinner at the table. We serve tea and coffee in the morning and afternoon and a snack in the evening.
We book consumptions on board using your cabin number, so that you can pay for everything in cash, debit card or credit card at the end of the trip.
The crew on board the ships consists of different nationalities. There is always a Dutch-speaking hotel manager and/or cruise director present and we try to ensure that there is always a Dutch-speaking crew member nearby who can speak to you in Dutch.
