Built in Germany in 1981, fully refurbished in 2018 the Nikolay Chernishevsky is a stunning four-deck ship, named after a famous Russian democrat and philosopher. All staterooms offer marvelous views, and most rooms include large panoramic windows to spend the perfect evening on board after the whole day of discoveries. Facilities include a private en-suite and air conditioning in each stateroom, plus a sauna, sun deck, and a great panoramic bar to enjoy with fellow guests. Entertainment onboard the Nikolay Chernishevsky is centered on performances and activities designed to offer guests an experience of authentic Russian culture and history. There are classical music concerts in the evening and live music in the bars. The ship is equipped with modern navigational facilities and travels at a speed of up to 26 km per hour (16,2 MpH)
